Rivet Education evaluates partners’ expertise in a three-step process. Applicants submit sample professional learning materials, like training presentations, handouts, guidebooks, course syllabi, or coaching notes. Our expert reviewers evaluate the materials against criteria to assess if the organization provides significant evidence of robust, HQIM-aligned professional learning services.

Partners that meet these criteria are profiled in the PLPG. Rivet Education approves partners for specific curriculum and phases of support.

What are these phases?

These phases refer to the distinct areas of support (adoption, launch, ongoing for teachers, ongoing for leaders) that PL partners provide to schools and school systems to support curriculum adoption and implementation.

Adoption: Services to help educators review and purchase a new curriculum.

Initial Implementation: Initial training for teachers and school leaders after they purchase a new curriculum on how to use it to support student learning.

Ongoing implementation support for teachers: Ongoing support and coaching for teachers focused on effective use of their curriculum.

Ongoing implementation support for leaders: Supports school system leaders with the enabling conditions and resources required for a successful implementation of the HQIM.
