This partner's approach and services
How we build district capacity
How we provide curriculum-aligned PL
Workshops
We design custom training sequences typically 2 - 5 days in duration on a variety of content and curriculum-specific topics for new and experienced educators. Workshops are designed in partnership with leaders and they build educators’ skills in instruction and leadership and support them to use materials effectively.
Coaching
With leaders, we conduct classroom observations to identify trends in curriculum implementation. We then co-plan, rehearse and/or co-lead intellectual preparation meetings, observation and feedback conversations, or PLCs. We may also analyze and discuss instructional videos, study curriculum resources, model strategies, and engage leaders and teachers in reflection conversations.
PLCs
We co-facilitate or directly lead planning sessions to help teachers use their materials effectively. These sessions focus on protocols that lead teachers to engage in unit study, lesson study, and student work analysis using their materials.
Consultations
We set clear goals for curriculum implementation and instruction with teams of school or district leaders. We engage these teams in collaborative planning and classroom walkthroughs to identify trends, set goals, and support school teams to improve curriculum implementation and student learning.
