This partner's approach and services
How we build district capacity
How we provide curriculum-aligned PL
Workshops
The goal of three-dimensional standards is to have students explore phenomena (real-world examples of the relevant topic) using tools of science. We engage workshop participants in phenomenon-based activities, as students, to clarify this goal. Additionally, we customize sessions for the specific content standards that are relevant to the enrolled participants.
Coaching
Successful coaching is a tight partnership. A school system’s assets, stakeholders, and constraints frame its adoption needs. We facilitate detailed discussions to resolve and clarify a client’s needs and goals and then work with the client to establish a clear adoption process and ensure that the process is successfully followed.
PLCs
Job-embedded collaboration is effective in creating change in teaching and learning. District and school staff are asked to work together to understand the requirements of the materials adoption process as well as the requirements of state and local standards and processes in order to facilitate a successful adoption process.
Consultations
A successful consultation requires a clear understanding of client goals. A school system’s assets, stakeholders, and constraints frame its adoption needs. We have detailed discussions to resolve and clarify client needs and then use that understanding to produce a detailed plan for the client’s adoption process.
