This partner's approach and services
How we build district capacity
How we provide curriculum-aligned PL
Workshops
NTC uses professional learning workshops to introduce key resources and concepts that participants can then use in their day-to-day practice. Length and duration of workshops, as well as the content, can be fully customized to partner needs.
Coaching
NTC provides one-on-one and/or small group coaching to support participants with applying their professional learning to their practice. For example, we may observe and debrief with a leader who is coaching an educator, or we may directly observe and coach an educator implementing high-quality instructional materials in their classroom.
PLCs
NTC supports partners to consider ways that professional learning can be embedded within existing collaborative structures such as PLCs, when educators have the opportunity to discuss problems of practice, lesson plan, etc. We may also support school leaders to establish such structures where there are opportunities to do so.
Consultations
NTC ensures that all curriculum launch and implementation efforts are aligned to district strategic plans. Therefore, we intentionally build time with district and school leaders to discuss how launch and/or implementation is going, monitor progress, and ensure cohesion with broader initiatives, all while planning for long-term sustainability.
