This partner's approach and services

How we provide curriculum-aligned PL

Workshops

We use our Science of Reading workshops to translate findings of scientifically-based research to increase teacher knowledge and practices about reading and issues related to reading and writing. Our workshops support districts with the resources and expertise necessary that leads to skillful implementation of high-quality instructional curriculum.

Coaching

We determine shared indicators that tie directly back to the program implementation focus for the month (ex. foundational skills; reading the main selection) and follow a coaching cycle for all teachers in the teacher team for continuous improvement on these indicators.

PLCs

We develop a scope and sequence for the year and each monthly meeting with teachers includes cognitive instructional planning, corresponding activities and a product that can immediately be used for instruction.

Consultations

We provide collaborative data-driven problem solving as we partner with district leaders/coaches/teachers to review student assessment data and student work.
